🌴 VAI is located in the very east of Crete. I'm not a fan of this place, but if you are on holiday relatively close, then combine the day with a visit to the Toplou Monastery. Walk from VAI along the path and you will find yourself on the beautiful beach of Psili Ammos.

🌴You can sail by boat from Damnoni and Plakias. Convenient and plus a walk along the sea. The cost is 9 euros one way.
